Very real blood orange and basil. Not sweet, but refreshing and herbal. It fades quickly.  For the price and the surprisingly fresh scent, it's a good buy.

Acqua Colonia Blood Orange & Basil  is similar to Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic. The combination of citrus and basil ,  gives you the same vibe as the aforementioned Guerlain fragrance at a fraction of the price. The opening is more citrusy than the Guerlain one, but the more it dries down, the more similar the two become.

Longevity is as expected for this kind of scent: not too strong and not too projecting, but defintely lasts a few hours.
